Since November 2015 I am a postdoctoral researcher in the theoretical astrophysics group (TAPIR) at Caltech. Before that, I was a research associate at the Center for Gravitation, Cosmology and Astrophysics (CGCA) at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I did my PhD at the Institut de Planétologie et d’Astrophysique de Grenoble (IPAG), in France.
My research focuses on compact objects in different contexts . I am especially interested in the outflows they create such as winds, jets or ejecta from stellar explosions .I study their structure and stability and try to determine some observable properties. I am also interested in their impact on the surrounding medium and how they can affect large scale structure formation.
I mainly use high-resolution numerical simulations and semi-analytical computations. I have strong experience with high-performance computing and numerical special relativity.
